The location called the washing machine offers two distinct diving experiences: one in slack water and another during the ebb tide at which time the current 'turns on' the washing machine. The site has a number of small interlocking canyons and swim-throughs which do not get much deeper than 1sm. As the current runs through these canyons, the water rushes in from all directions and the current runs into itself, thus creating a washing machine effect. One second you are being pulled in one direction; the next in the opposite direction. The sensation can be quite exhilarating for advanced divers but could be life-threatening to the inexperienced.
